Bio

Hugh Dancy. I am your regular English lad. I was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England, and really spent most of my life being a rascal, not that the tendencies have vanished with age. I studied English Literature and Language at Oxford University, which was a dream of both my father's and my own. He thought I would be an academic, but I'm too thick to follow that path, so instead I chose acting. I do have an obsession with grammar though, and it drives me insane, almost as insane as my natural etiquette to say 'love' after every sentence.

I speak fluent French, but I suppose everyone does these days. I endulge myself with Guinness at Notting Hill with friends and cook just pasta, nothing else. I don't think I'm anything special, but I suppose I'm doing something right if Germaine Greer thinks I'm handsome. Right, now, time for you all to go back to something more important.

I am curerrently single, joy.
